About Teresa Jacobi
I grew up in Vienna in a household shaped by music, academia, and conservative Catholicism – a potent mix that taught discipline, beauty, and reverence, while leaving many questions unanswered.
Over the years, I worked across many fields: social work, counselling, teaching, the arts, and communications. I learned how people survive, how they adapt, and how often they disappear from their own lives while appearing functional on the outside.
In 2023, after a Covid infection, I developed severe ME/CFS. Within months, my life collapsed into stillness.
What followed was not only physical illness, but a profound spiritual reckoning. Everything I had believed about strength, worth, control, and faith was stripped away. What remained was a quiet encounter with love – uncompromising, unearned, and utterly transformative.
While my physical healing continues, something essential was restored: the knowledge that life itself is not something to master, but something to receive.
I write and speak from that place now.
This work is not about answers.
It is about accompaniment.
If any part of this feels familiar,
you are already closer than you think.
