About Teresa Jacobi
I grew up in Vienna in a household shaped by music, academia, and conservative Catholicism - a potent mix that taught discipline, beauty, and reverence while leaving many questions unanswered.
Over the years, I worked across social work, counselling, teaching, the arts and communication. Along the way, I became fascinated by how people survive, adapt and search for meaning.
In 2023, after a Covid infection, I developed severe ME/CFS. Within months the life I had built became unrecognisable.
What followed was not only physical illness, but a profound spiritual reckoning. Faced with uncertainty I could neither solve nor control, many of the certainties I had relied upon began to fall away.
What remained was a quiet encounter with grace.
The questions did not disappear. Nor did the uncertainty. Yet something fundamental changed. I discovered that life is not something to master, but something to receive.
I write and speak form that place now.
Not to offer answers, but to accompany those learning to trust life again.
